Civiora is an independent private service. It is neither operated, nor commissioned, nor endorsed by the Confederation, the cantons or the municipalities. The data displayed comes from official public sources, cited on every page with their reference year; the Civiora index is a proprietary, non-official index.

Municipal coats of arms

Municipal coats of arms are displayed for identification and illustration purposes in a reference work (art. 8 para. 4 let. a of the Coat of Arms Protection Act, SR 232.21), based on files from Wikimedia Commons. Their display does not suggest any official relationship between Civiora and the communities concerned. Any municipality may request the removal of its coat of arms at the contact address above.

Civiora takes the greatest care over the accuracy and traceability of the data, but cannot guarantee its completeness or that it is permanently up to date: the official values published by the authorities are authoritative.
